Mechanisms Promoting Equal Opportunity are Inefficient, Shows Study

Ljubljana, 10 October - Mechanisms promoting the equality of the sexes are weak, while only rare initiatives exist to increase the participation of women in politics despite a decade of being in transition. This was highlighted at the presentation of the study Women - Politics - Opportunities, published by the Peace Institute - a non-profit research organization dedicated to modern social and political studies.
