EU Enlargement Raises the Economic Potential of Northern Adriatic Ports

Brussels, 10 October - EU enlargement will strongly increase the role of ports in the Northern Adriatic, as the once marginal region will become a region with an exceptional economic potential and a series of advantages, said Robert Vodopivec, Professor at the University of Ljubljana, in a debate on cross-border co-operation and EU enlargement in the European Parliament in Brussels on Wednesday.
