Ljubljana, 11 October - The future of Europe is important, not only from an institutional point of view, but also for the view that institutions in the EU and its member states are capable of living up to the citizens' expectations about the integration. This was the fil rouge of the debate entitled "The Future of the EU and Slovenia", organised on Thursday by the Slovene Parliament's European affairs commission and the Slovene part of the joint committee of the Slovene and European parliaments.
