EU Negotiator Pleased with Slovenia's Progress in Agriculture

Ljubljana, 12 October - Slovenia has made considerable progress in implementing the agricultural part of the acquis this year. Thus two key veterinary and phytosanitary acts were passed this year, however Slovenia still has to set up adequate veterinary and phytosanitary controls on the border with Croatia, the EU's head negotiator with Slovenia, Jaime Garcia Lombardero, said Friday after the session of the EU-Slovenia subcommittee for agriculture.
