Austrian Foreign Minister Optimistic About Resolution of AVNOJ Issue

Graz, 12 October - We are preparing a joint statement with Slovenia, as part of which we would settle the problematic issues regarding the AVNOJ decisions, Austrian Foreign Minister Benita Ferrero-Waldner said Friday during an address at a symposium in Austria's Styria province. According to the Austrian Press Agency (APA), Ferrero-Waldner added that she is optimistically looking forward to the bilateral resolution of this issue, and this before Slovenia becomes a member of the EU.
