Bank Privatisation Discussed by Top Slovene Financiers
Ljubljana, 13 October - A round table debate on the influence of privatisation and mergers in banking on the stock market was held at the fourth autumn meeting of financiers organised by the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Friday evening. The debate focused on the privatisation of the largest Slovene bank Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB) and was attended by Governor of Bank of Slovenia Mitja Gaspari, NLB Chairman of the Board Marko Voljc, the head of the commission for the privatisation of Slovenia's second largest bank Nova Kreditna banka Maribor (NKBM), Darko Tolar, and Joze Mencinger of the Economic Institute of Ljubljana's Law Faculty.
