Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia from 6 to 12 October

Ljubljana, 13 October - Danish Queen Margrethe II visited Slovenia, while Slovene Speaker of Parliament Borut Pahor paid an official visit to Spain. Maribor hosted a first Slovene-Austrian commission of historians and legal experts to discuss relations between the two countries in the 20th century. Croatian Prime Minister reiterated his government supports the Slovene-Croatian border agreement, however the agreement was not discussed in the Croatian parliament. Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek wrote to Racan appealing to him to sign the agreement. Top Slovene officials and the public supported U.S. retaliation on Afghanistan, while the Slovene Parliament adopted a special declaration to fight terrorism.
