Slovenia Upgrades its Air Defences, Media Quick to Criticise Selection of Roland II

Ljubljana, 19 October - A convoy of 21 vehicles carrying Slovenia's most recent air defence acquisition finally arrived in Slovenia yesterday. The Slovene media, however, was quick to criticise the purchase of the used Roland II short-range air defence missile battery system, labelling it as "outdated" and comparing it to that of Afghanistan's air defences.
