Report on Slovene-Italian Relations from 1880-1956 Presented Officially at Last

Ljubljana, 19 October - Over a year after a Slovene-Italian commission compiled a report on Slovene-Italian relations from 1880 to 1956, the report saw its first official presentation yesterday evening in Ljubljana. However, the public was informed about the report last spring when the commission itself sent it to the media in an effort to respond to some misleading information about it. Commissioned in 1993 by the Italian and Slovene foreign ministries, the report was an attempt to clear up some issues on which the two sides have different views, and improving bilateral relations.
