First EU Informative Week Targets Slovenia's Second City Maribor

Maribor, 21 October - A number of informative events related to Slovenia's EU accession is to take place in Maribor between Monday and Friday. Special focus of the EU informative week, organised by the delegation of the European Commission to Slovenia, is to be on the introduction of euro banknotes and coins in the EU as of 1 January 2002.
