Ljubljana, 23 October - There is no national consensus about NATO membership, there is only a political consensus about the issue, said publicist Vlado Miheljak in a debate on what NATO membership has in store for Slovenia. Taking place at the Faculty of Social Sciences on Tuesday, the panel was attended by government and parliamentary officials, who advocate NATO membership, and civil society representatives, who are skeptical about it or even oppose it.
