Dnevnik Comments Complications in the Selection of Leading Official at Telekom

Ljubljana, 24 October - The daily Dnevnik on Wednesday comments the annulled selection process for the post of chairman of the board at the national telecommunications operator, Telekom Slovenia. The government had advocated Peter Grasek for the post, however, on October 2, the supervisory board of Telekom appointed Adolf Zupan. This was annulled 20 days later by the supervisory board due to "reasonable doubt that application process was not valid".
