Society for Single Parents Files Lawsuit Against Slovenia
Ljubljana, 24 October - A Slovene society for the protection of rights of single parents, Ostrzek, filed a lawsuit against the state at the European Court for Human Rights in Strasbourg on Thursday. The lawsuit cites the failure of Slovenia to implement a Constitutional Court decision as of May of 1999 that parliament should implement new criteria for tax relief for step-children.
