Political Directors from EU and Candidate Countries to Meet in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 24 October - Slovenia is to host on Thursday an informal meeting of political directors from EU members and candidate countries, which is expected to focus primarily on the situation in the Balkans. Attended by deputy foreign ministers or state secretaries, the meeting is also to touch on changes on the international scene in the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the U.S..
