First Debate on Slovenia's NATO MAP Passes Without Critical Remarks

Brussels, 24 October - Slovenia's most recent NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) was received favourably by NATO officials at Wednesday's presentation in Brussels, and the higher political commitee of NATO assessed Slovenia's third annual programme for 2001/2002 as the most realistic and realisable so far, it was said after the meeting by State Secretaries at the Slovene Foreign and Defence Ministries, Igor Golob and Milan Jazbec.
