Slovenia - Paradise for Television Pirates

Slovenia represents a large market for distributors of satellite and cable television programmes. It has some 600,000 television sets, of which 40 per cent receive such programmes. It is a paradise for "television pirates," who illegally distribute foreign satellite and cable television programmes yet remain unpunished. These are only some of the findings of Adrian Schmotolocha, a Multichoice company representative for Slovenia, who presented the company's goals and activities at a news conference.
