New achievement of Slovene climbers in Patagonia

Ljubljana, 8 March - SPORT/ALPINE CLIMBING
A three-man team, consisting of Janez Jeglič (Domžale), Marko Lukič (Kozjak) and Miha Praprotnik (Ljubljana Matica), successfully scaled a new, extremely difficult, route on the south face of Cerro Torre (3128 m) in Argentine Patagonia, reported the Mountaineering Association of Slovenia (PZS). This is the third new route (difficulty VII-, 4A, 90) which Slovene climbers have climbed on Cerro Torre. Slovene climbers have at the same time recorded the greatest achievement of the 1993/94 climbing season in Patagonia.
