In connection with allegations of unprincipled Slovenian policy in the case of Zhirinovsky - prior to his departure for Slovenia Zhirinovsky was promised by the Slovenian Embassy in Moscow free entry into the country - Slovenian Ambassador to Russia Aleksander Geržina stated in a Večer interview that the visit by Zhirinovsky to Slovenia was not discussed at the Slovenian embassy with any representative of Zhirinovsky's party. For this reason no one was able to allow him entry into Slovenia, said Geržina.
