SOD Director Expects the Government Will Not Confirm His Dismissal

Ljubljana, 23 December - I have not acted against the law by selling Pivovarna Union shares to Pivovarna Lasko, therefore I do not expect to be dismissed by the government, Anton Kocnik, Director of the Slovene Reimbursement Company (SOD), told the network POP TV late on Sunday after he was dismissed by the SOD supervisory board for selling on Friday a 12.2-percent stake in the brewery Pivovarna Union to Pivovarna Lasko, the leading Slovene brewer, without the boards approval.
