Final Package of Negotiating Chapters Will Be Test of European Solidarity, Says Potocnik

Ljubljana, 25 December - Realistically, Slovenia can expect to be a net receiver of the EU budgetary funds upon its admission to the 15-nation bloc. Moreover, it is very likely that the country would be getting more from the budget than contributing to it also in the following budget period after the year 2006, according to Slovenia's chief negotiator with the EU.
