Trading on LJSE Takes Off Slowly in 2002
Ljubljana, 5 January - Given the volume of trade on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange in the first week of the new year, trading took off very slowly as the stock market was closed from Monday to Wednesday. Falling a bit on the first day of trading on Thursday, the benchmark SBI 20 index closed the week with another all-time high at 2,160.79 points, up 9.20 percent or 0.43 percent from 28 December, the last trading day in 2001.
