Railway Workers' Strike Finished

Ljubljana, 8 January - Railway workers finished their five-hour strike at 12:30 PM Tuesday during which passenger trains and most cargo trains stood still. "We feel the strike is unjustified, however we are ready for a fresh round of talks and expect that the trade unions will accept our conditions so that we can come to an agreement acceptable for both sides," STA was told by Sandi Salkic, a spokesman for Slovene Railways.
