KAD Sells its Stake in Pivovarna Union to Belgium's Interbrew

Ljubljana, 8 January - The state-run Pension Fund Management (KAD) has sold its 10.35-percent stake in the Slovene brewery Pivovarna Union to Belgian brewer Interbrew, a rival of Pivovarna Lasko, Slovenia's largest brewer, for the takeover of Union. KAD is expected to explain its decision at a news conference at 3:00 PM CET.
