Trieste Port Authorities Launch Probe into Port of Koper Operations

Koper, 8 January - The authorities of the Italian Port of Trieste have launched an investigation into the correctness of operations of Slovenia's Port of Koper, which through a subsidiary runs the seventh pier in the Trieste Port. The first results of the probe are to be known in February, Maurizio Maresca, head of the Trieste Port authorities, said in an interview for Tuesday's edition of the Slovene daily Delo.
