Hain and Bavcar Hope that Changes in the Italian Government Will Not Threaten EU Enlargement

Ljubljana, 9 January - British Europe Minister Peter Hain, who is visiting Slovenia on Wednesday, and Slovene outgoing Europe Minister Igor Bavcar expressed hope that Italy would continue to play a very constructive role in the EU, despite the recent changes in the government after the resignation of Foreign Minister Renato Ruggiero.
