Expansion and Bringing the EU Closer to the People are Short-term Priorities, Hain Says

Ljubljana, 9 January - The main short-term challenges of the European Union are expansion and bringing European institutions closer to its citizens, so that they may actively co-operate in the decision-making process, visiting British Minister for European Affairs Peter Hain said during his lecture in Ljubljana on Wednesday.
