Consumers to Stay Calm Following Second BSE Case, Agriculture Association Official Predicts

Ljubljana, 10 January - Slovene consumers did not react hysterically following the confirmation of the maiden case of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) in the country and it is unlikely that sale of beef will drop following the confirmation of the second case of this brain-wasting disease in Slovenia, an association of meat producers predicted on Thursday.
