The Slovene Press Comments Discovery of Second BSE Case in the Country
Ljubljana/Maribor, 11 January - All major Slovene dailies respond on Friday to news that there is a high likelihood that Slovenia has been hit by a second case of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE). Despite the fact that the dailies point to consumer confidence in Slovenia's BSE prevention measures, two of the three dailies remain worried about the fate of the legislation on animal fodder that is currently in parliamentary procedure.
