Heading SVEZ and Negotiating Team Is Compatible, Says Potocnik

Ljubljana, 11 January - "Heading the Government Office for European Affairs (SVEZ) and the team negotiating with the EU, is compatible," said Slovenia's chief negotiator with the EU Janez Potocnik in response to his nomination to the post of European affairs minister, which was announced earlier in the day. Together with a notice about outgoing Europe Minister Igor Bavcar's resignation from the post, Potocnik's nomination has already been sent to parliament by Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek.
