No Man's Land Wins Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Film

Los Angeles, 21 January - "An Oscar nomination is so close now that I can really wish for it, and an Oscar is the ultimate thing that someone making films can wish for," said a Slovene co-producer of No Man's land, a war satire by director Danis Tanovic, which won the Golden Globe Award for best foreign film on Sunday evening in Los Angeles. The French-Slovene-Italian-Belgian-British co-production also scooped the Golden Satellite Award for best foreign film, conferred by the International Press Academy on Saturday.
