Salt Lake City, 19 February - Slovene cross-country skier Andreja Mali achieved the best-ever finish of a Slovene cross-country skier at the Olympic games, finishing seventh in the women's sprint event held on Tuesday. Mali, who was also seventh following the qualifying stage, finished the B final in third with a time of 3:25.9. The A final and thus the gold medal went to Russia's Julija Tchepalova with a time of 3:10.6.
