Natasa Bokal Best Slovene in Women's Slalom with Ninth Place
Salt Lake City, 20 February - The Slovene women struggled in the slalom event as poor weather conditions prevailed and subsequently the course reminded more of that for the moguls. The best Slovene was the oldest competitor on the Slovene women's alpine team, 34-year-old Natasa Bokal, who finished at ninth place, a full 3.84 seconds behind Croatia's Janica Kostelic.
