Former members of the consultative board of the Council for the Protection of Human Rights addressed an open letter to Prime Minister Drnovšek in which they urged him to take necessary measures in accordance with his responsibilities and powers. The signatories to the open letter expect the Prime Minister to propose that the current defence minister be relieved of his duties and replaced by a more appropriate person as soon as possible.
