Commission Investigating Petek Case Says Contradictions Were Result of a Mistake

Ljubljana, 12 March - The parliamentary commission investigating the background of a brutal attack on journalist Miro Petek established on Tuesday that contradictory statements about whether Petek was ever invited to take the polygraph test were just a result of an "unpleasant mistake". This was said by commission chair Mirko Zamernik after the commission once again questioned assistant director of the Slovene criminal police Marjan Erhatic, who said last week that Petek was asked to take the test but refused.
