Exact Costs of NATO Accession Cannot Be Calculated, Says Defence Ministry Official

Ljubljana, 13 March - While opponents of Slovenia's NATO integration demand a precise calculation of the cost of Slovenia's potential NATO membership, precise costs or benefits cannot be calculated, just as they cannot be calculated in the case of Slovenia's EU accession, Defence Ministry State Secretary Janko Dezelak told a panel on economic effects of Slovenia's NATO membership on Wednesday evening.
