Financial Times: President Adds to Uncertainty on the Sale of Slovenia Banks

London, 14 March - Slovene President Milan Kucan told Thursday's edition of Financial Times that now was not the best time to be selling banks to foreign investors, as supply of banks for sale exceeded demand. "The question is whether it is absolutely necessary to sell a bank only to foreign investors in the process of privatisation," Kucan was quoted as saying.
