Contract on the Sale of Maribor Airport Annulled

Maribor, 14 March - While it already seemed that attempts to sell Maribor airport have borne fruit, the company Gemag failed to pay for the airport or at least produce a bank guarantee for the purchase by midnight, meaning that the sales contract finalised last month is null and void. Gemag, a Maribor-based company, offered 2.24 million euros/500 million tolars for Aerodrom Maribor at an auction held on 12 February after the opening price was set at 320 million tolars.
