Slovenia Represented at Sao Paolo Biennial by Artists from Alternative Arts Centre
Ljubljana, 15 March - Slovenia will be represented at this year's 25th Sao Paolo biennial - one of three most important events of its kind - by a group of artists from the Metelkova alternative arts centre, as well as by Marina Grzinic & Aina Smid, who will take part in the net-art section. Opening on 23 March, the biennial, which will boast some 190 artists from 70 countries, will focus on the iconography of metropolises, examining the ways in which urban energy and contemporary art are interwoven.
