Doctors Set to Go on Strike on 19 March as Talks with Government Fail

Ljubljana, 15 March - After a week of marathon negotiations between the government and Fides, the trade union of Slovene doctors and dentists, failed to produce the desired results, Fides president Konrad Kustrin said Friday that doctors would start striking on 19 March, just as they announced on 26 February. Nevertheless, negotiations are to resume on Saturday.
