Decision on NKBM Privatisation Echoes in Slovene Press
Ljubljana/Maribor, 22 March - Mayor Slovene dailies comment Friday on the decision reached by the commission supervising the sale of NKBM, Slovenia's second largest bank, which decided not to select any of the three bidders for a 65-percent stake in the bank. Although the government has until the end of today to say the final word, the media are convinced that the move, perceived as political by most commentators, in effect halts the privatisation of the NKBM.
