Only Government Can Decide on NKBM Privatisation

Ljubljana, 22 March - Only the government has the authority to sell state-owned assets and make final decisions, said Alja Brglez of the government information office on Friday. Her statements dismissed some speculations that Thursday's decision of the privatisation commission of Slovenia's bank NKBM not to select a bidder for the 65-percent stake in the country's second bank, is also the end of the sales procedure.
