EU Applicants Want Equal Agriculture Status with EU, Agrees Forum in Croatia
Brijuni, 22 March - Slovene Agriculture Minister Franci But told STA that the countries attending Friday's two-day forum on EU enlargement and agriculture at Croatia's archipelago of Brioni are in favour of multi-purpose agriculture and equal status with EU member states. The forum, to conclude on Saturday, is attended by agriculture ministers from EU applicant countries and representatives of Austria, Italy and the European Commission.
