Ljubljana, 23 March - While domestically, this week has been marked by doctors' strike, and Friday's congress of Pensioners' Party DeSUS, Slovenia has kept itself busy in foreign affairs. Swedish Prime Minister Goeran Persson paid a two-day official visit to Slovenia, meeting with a number of top officials and expressing his country's support for Slovenia's EU accession. Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said that Slovenia has made its last instalment to a Luxembourg fiduciary account in line with the Rome agreement on compensation for confiscated property of optanti, Italian citizens that left Slovenia after WWII.
