European Parliament: Slovenia's EU Preparations Favourable, Some Criticism Remains

Brussels, 26 March - Slovenia's preparations for EU membership are well unde rway, and while additional efforts will have to be made in certain areas, the European Parliament expects the country to become an EU member in the shortest possible time. This was written in a draft report on the state of accession negotiations between Slovenia and the EU on which the European Parliament is to take a vote in June.
