Slovenes in Croatia Could Benefit from Slovenia's EU Accession

Ljubljana, 27 March - State Secretary to the Slovene Foreign Ministry, Iztok Simoniti on Wednesday received representatives of Slovenes that live in Croatia. Reiterating the importance of good bilateral relations, Simoniti and the minority representatives thought that Slovenia's upcoming accession to the EU could have a beneficial effect on the status of Slovenes in Croatia, the Foreign Ministry said.
