FM Rupel Lends Support to All Constructive Efforts for Independent Palestinian State

Ljubljana, 28 March - The on-going Middle East crisis topped the agenda on Thursday, as Slovenia's Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel received a delegation from the Ministry of Planning and International Co-operation at the Palestinian National Authority, headed by the assistant deputy Minister Jihad Alwazir. While stressing the need for a peaceful solution and political dialogue in solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Foreign Minister Rupel underlined Slovenia's support for all constructive efforts to establish an independent and democratic Palestinian state, the ministry said in a press release.
