Gov't Decides to Secure EIB Loan for Closure of Uranium Mine

Ljubljana, 28 March - The Slovene government adopted on Thursday the bill on securing a loan of 20 million euros with the The European Investment Bank (EIB) that is to be used for a more environment-friendly closure of a former uranium mine in western Slovenia. In addition, the cabinet passed a decree on financial support for the preparation of agricultural and food products for the external market by 2002.
