Parliament Gets New Rules of Procedure After Five Years of Efforts
Ljubljana, 2 April - Slovene MPs on Tuesday after five years of efforts passed new parliament's rules of procedure, which are to enable more efficient operations of the legislative, according to its proponents, who come from the ruling coalition. The document, passed in a 57-to-24 vote, transfers a great deal of debates on bills to parliamentary bodies and introduces limited time for debates in parliament.
