End of Doctors' Strike in Sight as Agreement with Government Is Initialed

Ljubljana, 3 April - An agreement determining ways of resolving disputes was initialed Wednesday by negotiators of the government, the doctors' trade union Fides and the Slovene Medical Chamber (ZZS) in a bid to end the doctors' strike which is in its 16th day today. To take effect, the accord needs to be signed by the govenment, the Fides assembly and the ZZS executive committee.
