Peterle on Smolnikar-Janša Case: We Need to Know the Truth Before Taking Any Measures

Lojze Peterle, chairman of the Slovenian Christian Democrats (SKD), spoke at a regular weekly news conference given by the SKD today. Referring to the events of the past week - the so-called Smolnikar case - Peterle said that their position was that the truth must be ascertained before any measures are taken. As reported, the Slovenian Prime Minister has proposed that defence minister Janez Janša be relieved of duty.
